Tree Bark - Golden Valley Tree Park, Bibbulmun Track and other bushland
When I am walking through the bush, I am often taken by both the scale of the bush - the trees in particular - and also the small things - for example, wildflowers. I also like to look at the ‘texture’ of the bush - the moss on trees, lichen on rocks, water ripples, and the tree canopies. Recently, I have been noticing the texture of tree bark, and I have begun to photographs and try to capture those textures. Below is my first collection of these photos, taken primarily from the Australian collection of the Golden Valley Tree Park, along the Bibbulmun track near Balingup, and other bushland, including in Tasmania.
